Introduction

Since the inception of Dawat-e-Islami in 1981 up to 1994, Madaaris-ul-Madinah were established but there were no jamiaat. Over time, feeling the need for such an institute, the first class of Dars-e-Nizami was taught in the morning during September 1994 in New Karachi, Godhra Colony, Karachi, and over 50 students were part of this class. The institute was initially called Madrasa-tul-Madinah, but it was renamed to Jamia-tul-Madinah a few years later.
