The final Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

اِنَّ الْعُلَمَاءَ ہُمْ وَرَثَۃُ الْاَنْبِیَاء

The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. (Sunan al-Darimi, vol. 1, p. 110, hadith 342)

The proof of Islam, Imām Muḥammad al-Ghazālī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said, “From this hadith, we deduce that just as there is no rank greater than Prophethood, there is no greatness better than the inheritance of the Prophets [i.e. knowledge].” (Iḥya al-ꜤUlum, vol. 1, p. 20)

O lovers of the Prophet! Islamic seminaries are important institutes in which the inheritance of the Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام is passed down generation to generation, and this is why they are known as the fortresses of Islam. The process of spreading Islamic knowledge from these institutes is ongoing since the beginning of Islam. The formal beginning of a chain of educating and learning took place on a platform in al-Masjid al-Nabawi. Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said:

A small platform was made connected to Masjid al-Nabawī and guests would arrive there, and the Companions رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُم resided their permanently. These people are known as the People of al-Ṣuffah. Those who exhibit their qualities today are called Sufis; the people with pure hearts and garments made of wool. The number of Ahl al-Ṣuffah fluctuated; sometimes there were 70 people and sometimes more than 200. It was as if this was the madrasah of the Prophet (Mirˈat al-Manajiḥ, vol. 3, p. 218)

The leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ has been gaining the inheritance of the noble Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام, i.e., Islamic knowledge, and spreading it to others for more than 40 years. The establishment of Jamia-tul-Madina under Dawat-e-Islami is one of the means by which he is conveying the love of knowledge and the inheritance of the noble Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام to others. The first branch was founded in 1994 in a Madrassa tul Madina in Godhra Colony, New Karachi. As a result of Amir Ahl al-Sunnah and the preachers of Dawat-e-Islami encouraging the acquisition of knowledge, just as many people travel on the Madani Qafilahs, many people have also enrolled into Jamia-tul-Madina alongside this to gain even more Islamic knowledge. This is why many branches of Jamia-tul-Madina have opened in Karachi and all over Pakistan. As of now, there are branches in Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, UK, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Kenya and other countries, in which thousands of students are receiving the inheritance of the Prophets May Allah grant the students the blessings of the Companions of al-Ṣuffah

Through the mercy of Allah, I completed four years of Dars-e-Niẓāmī under the tutelage of Mufti Amīn ꜤAṭṭārī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه. Then I studied in Jamia-tul-Madina, Faizan-e-Madina and my journey to acquire knowledge continued under the blessings and kindness of my teachers. I graduated in 2005 and Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ and Shaykh al-Hadith Mufti Muhammad Ismail Ziyai دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ tied my graduation Ꜥimāmah.

May Allah Almighty preserve the blossoming seekers of Islamic knowledge for the sake of the breeze of Madinah, may he keep those who are responsible for planting these fragrant flowers happy, grant them Jannat al-Firdaws without accountability, and proximity to the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم in Paradise.
