The final Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Muhammad صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Allah revealed to Prophet Ibrahim عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم, ‘O Ibrāhīm! I am All-Knowing, and I like every person of knowledge.’” (Iḥyaˈ al-ꜤUlum, vol. 1, p. 21)

By Allah’s mercy, Dawat-e-Islami is busy teaching people sacred knowledge through various means to make them beloved to Allah Almighty. Through the compassionate concern of my Shaykh, the leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, Dawat-e-Islami is working to make knowledge accessible to everyone and make them beloved to Allah Almighty. Alongside other initiatives, one of the most important and effective tools in achieving this was the inauguration of Jamia-tul-Madinah in 1994. By the grace of Allah Almighty, the branches of Jamia-tul-Madinah are increasing, and they have already produced thousands of scholars for the ummah. 

The lofty nature of the noble scholars is that they are more kind to people than their own parents. 

Sayyidunā Yaḥyā b. MuꜤādh رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said, “The scholars are more benevolent to this nation than their parents.” 

Someone asked, “How is that?” 

He answered, “Parents offer protection from the fire of the world, whereas scholars strive to protect people from the fire in the hereafter.” (Iḥyāˈ al-ꜤUlūm, vol. 1, p. 28)

It is the mercy of Allah Almighty that thousands of students are studying in the branches of Jamia-tul-Madinah. My Shakyh, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ said, “Since Dawat-e-Islami was created, it has not stopped reaching new heights and it continues to advance.” Similarly, since Jamia-tul-Madinah was established, it has only achieved success after success. In the past, the Tanẓīm al-Madāris Board issued exams for students of Jamia-tul-Madinah, and students participated and earned high positions. In 2021, Jamia-tul-Madinah achieved further success as the government established more boards for Islamic seminaries, and one was approved for Dawat-e-Islami named “Kanz-ul-Madaris”. The salient feature of this board is it also established a Shariah Advisory Board within it which the Muftis of Dar-ul-Ifta Ahl-al-Sunnah are part of. 

The overseas institutes of Dawat-e-Islami will be able to affiliate with the Kanz-ul-Madaris Board, so students will take examinations under it and earn a degree if they pass. Students who wish to learn in Pakistan will be given student visas and the opportunity to study at any institute associated with the Kanz-ul-Madaris Board. The noble Quran and its exegesis, sacred Hadith and the principles relating to it, jurisprudence and its principles, logic, rhetoric and more were already taught in Jamia-tul-Madina. After the Kanz-ul-Madaris Board was created, these disciplines were added to the curriculum: Proselytization and Guidance, History, Prophetic Biography, Spiritual Wayfaring, Civics, Comparative Religion, Computer Course, and English Language.

May Allah Almighty accept the efforts of Jamia-tul-Madinah and grant it more success.
