My direct link with the great department of Jamia-tul-Madina began in 2007 when Dawat-e-Islami’s central executive committee gave me the responsibility of managing the Jamiat in Pakistan. At the time, my nigran was Haji Shahid Madani. I had responsibilities overseas before this, so managing Jamia-tul-Madina was a completely new experience for me. I completed dars-e-nizami in “Dar ul-Uloom Amjadiyyah” and this gave me the experience of teaching and studying and understanding of the environment of an Islamic seminary. However, I experienced and learned new things once I visited the Jamiaat and conducted Madani Mashwaras.
مَا شَـآءَ اللّٰه! Apart from education, I saw a passion for learning and serving Islam in the beautiful environment of Jamia-tul-Madina. Talented teachers, muftis, and members of the majlis welcomed me wholeheartedly and honored a newly appointed person like me, and this was undoubtedly a blessing of the leader of Ahl al-Sunnah’s training. There were approximately 50 Jamiaat in Pakistan in those days, and now there are approximately 1124. It is the blessing of Allah and His Messenger, and the fruits of Mawlānā Ilyās ꜤAṭṭār al-Qādirī’s دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ hard work that so many Jamiaat have been built in such little time, approximately 90,000 male and female students are studying, thousands of students have graduated, and the Kanz-ul-Madaaris Board has been implemented.
The graduates of Jamia-tul-Madina are performing the religious work of Dawate-e-Islami all over the world, and this shows the future of Jamia-tul-Madina is very bright. As the organization’s success increases, the opportunities for graduates to serve Islam also increase. I doubt there is any Dar-ul-Uloom in the world that provides as many departments for graduates to serve in. I request all readers to enroll in Jamia-tul-Madina along with your children in order to acquire the blessings of becoming a student of knowledge and to grasp the many opportunities of serving Islam.
May Allah grant more success to Jamia-tul-Madina, and make every student a scholar who acts upon their knowledge.
