The global religious movement "Dawat-e-Islami" is dedicated to the dissemination of Islamic knowledge through various means such as schools and universities, lectures and sermons, invitations to righteousness, and training sessions. As a result, thousands of Islamic brothers and sisters are being adorned with the ornament of religious knowledge at different times. In promoting Islamic education, "Jamiatul Madina" under Dawat-e-Islami plays a unique role, with thousands of male and female students engaged in acquiring various sciences and arts. Let's explore some of the courses offered under Jamiatul Madina:
1) Dars-e-Nizami: Dars-e-Nizami serves as an excellent platform for becoming a religious scholar, enabling the acquisition of fundamental religious sciences. Through this program, we gain exemplary imams, preachers, and religious leaders who contribute to eradicating societal evils. For male students, the duration of Dars-e-Nizami varies between six to eight years, depending on the country. Education is imparted through a robust and comprehensive curriculum.
2) Specializations (Takhassusat): After completing Dars-e-Nizami, various courses are designed based on the students' abilities and interests. Currently, four courses are offered under the specialization department:
a) Takhassus fil Fiqh (Specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence): Established in 2003, this two-year course focuses on in-depth understanding of Islamic jurisprudence. Upon completion, students undergo further training under expert scholars to refine their skills in issuing religious verdicts (fatwas).
b) Takhassus fil Hadith (Specialization in Hadith Studies): This two-year course emphasizes the study of Hadith, including principles of authentication, narrator evaluation, and practical application of Hadith sciences.
c) Takhassus fil Imamat (Specialization in Leadership): This course aims to prepare imams who are knowledgeable, well-mannered, and capable of leading congregations effectively. It includes training in religious obligations, proper recitation, and preaching skills. With the establishment of Kanz-ul-Madaris Board, this course is now integrated into the eight-year Dars-e-Nizami program.
d) Fiqh-ul-Muamalat (Islamic Finance and Transactions): Initiated in 2021, this one-year course addresses contemporary economic systems, online investments, and modern financial transactions. It equips scholars to assess and guide on new modes of trade and finance, ensuring compliance with Islamic principles.
3) Short-Term Courses: To keep students engaged in meaningful academic and practical activities during extended vacations, short-term courses are offered. These courses enable students to learn important disciplines in a brief period. Currently, the following courses are conducted:
a) Ilm-ul-Tauqeet (Science of Timekeeping): Focusing on the knowledge of timekeeping and related religious obligations.
b) Arabic Language: Enhancing proficiency in Arabic to understand religious texts better.
