2-Day Training Workshop on "Fundamentals of Islamic Banking and Finance" for the Students of Jamia-tul-Madinah
To equip future Islamic scholars with an understanding of contemporary economic demands, a two-day educational and training workshop was organized in Johar Town, Lahore, through the collaborative efforts of Islamic Economics Centre (Markaz-ul-Iqtisad Al-Islami) and Jamia-tul-Madinah. Approximately 1,000 students from across the country participated in this significant event.
During the various sessions of the workshop, esteemed Islamic scholars and experts provided comprehensive guidance to the students. Renowned economics expert Mufti Ali Asghar Attari delivered a detailed briefing on key topics of Islamic banking and finance and comprehensively answered the students' queries.
Member of the Central Advisory Council (Dawat-e-Islami), Haji Yafoor Attari, provided valuable career counseling and professional guidance to the attendees.
Furthermore, Mufti Sajid discussed contemporary issues related to economics, Maulana Majid Madani presented a comparative analysis of financial institutions, capital markets, and dual banking systems, while Maulana Hassan Madani delivered an insightful lecture on types of businesses and corporate structures.
